I never thought I would get into a game like this. I mean, I never really understood the premise of the actual game or how it works. Sure, you have to be the best and catch them all. Get the rare ones and show them off to your friends. But I have fallen into it’s trap. It’s addiction.
Huh? No, not Pokemon… I still don’t get that. I’m talking about…
It’s been a couple of years since I’ve played an NBA 2K game. I’m pretty sure the last one was 2K14, which came out in 2013. The only mode I ever used to play was MyCareer because I liked the idea of being your own player and progressing through your time in the league.
I guess it’s because the only team in the NBA I ever liked was the Indiana Pacers and since Reggie Miller left I stopped caring. However for the last couple of seasons I’ve been following my local NBL team here in Perth, Western Australia.
To be completely honest,
I went a head and made world one in what I plan to be a whole game’s worth of levels. Have you got what it takes to defeat the evil pirate bastard, Captain Goomba?

It’s official. The new update for Super Mario Maker has gone live!
Do yourself a favour… Actually do ME a favour and get the update. Not just that, add checkpoints to all of your courses. If you do this I will be more inclined to continue playing your stage, instead of holding the skip stage button when I die.
And I die a lot.
Also I would greatly appreciate it if you change power-ups to the context sensitive ones. You know, just drag a mushroom onto a fire flower or whatever. It makes the stages more “Mario-esque”.

Super Mario Maker is the game I am most looking forward to this year. Sure, there are some great Triple-A titles yet to come in the next five months, such as Metal Gear, Guitar Hero and Fallout 4 but this is the game I want.
Super Mario Maker isn’t even out yet and I want more. It’s a game that is already packed full of content and it needs more. Don’t misunderstand what I mean, it is pretty much everything I could want in a side-scrolling Mario game, however… I. WANT. MORE.
It seems like we can’t go more than just a few months without seeing another story arise about a video game being ‘banned’ in Australia or how the Australian ratings system is “broken”.
This time it’s in regards to an article posted on www.abc.net.au headlined “Australia bans 220 video games in 4 months as Government adopts new classification model”
Frankly, I should be able to end this here and tell you
I wanted to begin this by saying “It was December 23rd 2003” but after thinking it over and saying it in my head a few times, it just sounded cliched and overused. You know, kinda like an episode of one of those sitcoms where someone is reminiscing back about a time in their life when an important event or something memorable happened.
But I’m better than that. I’ve decided to go in a different direction. Instead, I’m gonna go with this pointless and in no way related to this actual blog entry introduction.
