The Adventure is Over: How Working in a Video Game Store Ended It – Part 3

2005 comes along and I’ve been out of school for a few years. I was working, so I wasn’t short a buck and Nintendo were about to release the handheld innovation, the Nintendo DS. After hearing rumours from an announcement that the new system would have two screens, reading about it in magazines, searching everyday on the internet and finally seeing the thing unveiled at E3, you could say I was a little bit excited.

Ryan and I both had pre-orders at EB Games in the city. I’m 99% certain I was meant to be at TAFE the day the machine came out, but I decided that this was far more important than doing what I was meant to be doing… Working on a website and video promotional package for Camp Quality… A charity foundation for kids with cancer…

Animal Crossing Diary 05/08/13 – It was as if the sky was on fire

As I lay in my bed falling asleep I felt the worries of the day dispersing from my mind. Things like Blathers complaining about the museum, the Trap Setting Son of a Bitch and that idiot Dizzy were further away then they had ever been. Relaxation flowed over my particularly sexy body. I felt little tingles running up my arm. Tiny signals that my nerve endings were sending to me to relax me even more. I looked down at my arm. Holy crap! There was a spider on me!

Animal Crossing Diary – A Week Has Passed: Day 20 to 27

Hello. Some time has passed. A week in fact. You could say I’ve done a lot since we last spoke but you could also say I did very little. As you know. My name is Jiggly and I am the mayor of Meowland. If you recall, last week I went on an adventure. Someone named Cerviche visited me and I went and visited him. I didn’t know if it was real though. I was having a bad time and was quite lonely so was it just a creation in my mind? I didn’t know.
